Our established, state-of-the-art dental practice is looking for a person to assist our doctors and care for our patients with consummate customer service and world class dentistry. Full time preferred.
Requirements
• Experience in a dental office using dental computer software like Dentrix (or compatible), and must comprehend and master the technology that aids in planning, scheduling, and treating patients.
• Experience with insurance billing and pre-authorizing, as well as payment plans and managing financial information, and must feel comfortable to collect a fee for a service patients value.
• Experience with scheduling and confirming patient appointments, having the ability to motivate patients to schedule and keep appointments.
• Must be comfortable and skilled in phone etiquette and management to make and receive calls in a consistent, polite, and professional manner.
• Must love people and have the skills to handle the challenge and satisfaction of helping scared, frightened, or even angry patients become comfortable in the dental office.
• Must be highly trustworthy and ethical.
Preferred Skills
• A minimum of 3-5 years of dental front office experience.
• Strong background in dental computer software (Dentrix is a plus).
• Experience with patient management & communication software (ie. Yapi, Weave, NexHealth)
• Comfort encouraging and assisting in patient use of website interfaces.
• Excellent accounting and financial management skills.
• Familiar with tracking and managing social media reviews via Yelp, Google, and Facebook.
• Great verbal and written communication (especially email), as well as excellent interpersonal skills.
